Pool locker room
problem…
solution…
budget…
For years the client tried to figure out the best solution for guests to change or shower when using the swimming pool. They contemplated building an extra pool house for awhile. They had the space and budget but something didn’t seem right about that. It would be too far from the house, need to be maintained, etc.
They were now empty nesters and were overlooking the easiest solution. Why not convert one of the basement rooms onto the locker room? It already had an attached bathroom and a door which led directly to the pool deck outside.
They spent so many years using the room in a different capacity that they didn’t see the obvious solution.
$75,000.00 Pool Locker & Bathroom
That includes both rooms, cabinetry, LOTS of tile, AND design time along with all of the other smaller details. It was certainly a much smaller price than had they pursued the pool house option.
And because it’s in the main house it’s just one extra space to maintain and clean occasionally rather than the upkeep of an extra “house” out beyond the pool.
